This newsletter of the Gay Activist Alliance includes an article discussing a "zap" that took place in April 1971 at NYC Board of Examiners office. "Zaps" were political actions that targeted specific organizations or public figures.  The Oral History interviews included on this site with Michael Bettinger and Felice Picano discuss some of the more notable "zaps" that were performed in the early years of the movement.
